I am trying to create textures for Portal 1 based off of textures from Portal 2 to give Portal 1 an updated look. Here is the image I am basing it all off of:<br />

			<title><![CDATA[Mobile Artillery Platform]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[So I used the basic suspension design but added a second set of wheels in the rear. Each rear "axle" has 4 wheels on it. Two on each side. That's 10 wheels total.<br />
<br />
The current artillery boom is something that I just slapped on there so that I'd have something to show everybody. The finished one will look much better with a couple of those tiny PHX bars placed to make it look like the pipes are actually bolted in. If I don't get too lazy the boom on the finished one will actually be mounted on an axis and will be able to fire in any direction without having to line up the entire vehicle.<br />
<br />
I'll have 4 of those pipes(which are 80mm GCombat mortars) mounted on it and attached to the boom with grabbers. The idea is to be able to swap out armaments based on the current situation. If I need artillery, I can mount some howitzers or mortars on it. If I need armor piercing I can swap whatever's on there for some at cannons. Versatility is the name of the game.<br />
<br />
The boom also has multiple angles that it can fire from. There are 9 settings total so it's not limited to extremely far away objects. I believe I set 45 degrees as the max since that's the angle that it can fire the farthest from.<br />

It hasnt too much power (v1 at least, v2 is more powerful,) but is nice for killing zombies in a different way-Weird.-<br />

Each chapter aims to slot pieces of the plot together to reveal a deep and disturbing storyline mixed with action, romance and drama. It has been in production for about 6 months and is the biggest project i have ever taken.<br />

<span style="font-weight: bold;">The Singleplayer story:</span><br />
The story in Bad Company 1 revolves around a quartette of military misfits who have all been placed in the "expendeble" company, B-Company, for various reasons. The soldiers in B-Company do the army's dirty work, they go in before the Special Forces do, since they are, like mentioned, deemed expendable.<br />

Here is a very brief look on the characters that appear in the game. If you'd like a more indepth look on each of the characters, click on their names.<br />

The player takes on the role of Preston Marlowe, B-Company's latest addition. The reason behind Preston's sudden move to B-Company is quite unknown, but it involves him flying a helicopter recklessly and most likely crashing. Hopefully more detail about Preston will be revealed as the series continues.<br />

<span style="font-weight: bold;">Sergeant Redford:</span><br />
 Sergeant Redford, or "Red" as they call him, is the leader of the squad and he is the most responsible of the four.<br />
He is unique in many ways compared to the other, mostly because he's the only one that volunteered to join B-Company. By doing so, he is now only three days away from retirement. After that, no more fighting for him. Just fishing in Marlin.<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">George Haggard Jr.:</span><br />
Haggard got transferred to B-Company after an incident where he shows his love for explosions by blowing up a very large fuel depot that belonged to the US military.<br />
Haggard is the clown of the group and is usually the one that says and does the most memorable things throughout the game.<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;"><br />
Sweetwater (no in depth page about him):</span><br />
Sweetwater is the squad's smart guy, or nerd as Haggard likes to call him. Red tends to nag at him as well for talking too much.<br />
Haggard and Sweetwater have an almost brother like relationship, where Haggard is the big brother. They, at times, behave like two kids on a long car ride throughout the game.<br />
His story is rather amusing, he somehow managed to upload a virus to the US army's mainframe and was forced to serve in B-Company as punishment. Before this incident, he was saving money so that he could go to colledge, guess that won't happen anytime soon..<br />

It all starts with a very "simple" reconnaissance. But it's never that easy now is it..? In the beginning, they act as the army's slaves and do what they are told to do. But then something.. something shiny catches their attention. GOLD!<br />

   <span style="font-weight: bold;"> *</span> More gamemodes! There is Conquest, Rush, Squad Deathmatch and Squad Rush. Plenty to keep you and your friends busy for hours!<br />
    <span style="font-weight: bold;">*</span> Improved gameplay! The bad parts of the gameplay from the first game have been fixed and the good stuff has been refined to make this game a lot better than the first game!<br />
    <span style="font-weight: bold;">*</span> Improved vehicle physics! At last, DICE has fixed up the otherwise clunky physics that is found in previous titles such as BC1 and BF2. The vehicles behave a lot better now and it's much easier to drive. Which allows for much more mayhem with vehicles!<br />
    <span style="font-weight: bold;">*</span> New weapons and unlocks! Customize your weapons and make them the way you want them to be. Add scopes, granadelaunchers and other attatchments to your weapons.<br />
   <span style="font-weight: bold;"> *</span> New and improved class system! Now you can customize the class of your choice to make it suit your playstyle a lot more, adding more freedom to the game.<br />

2.3 ghz single core cpu<br />
ATI radeon HD 3800 series<br />
4 gigs of ram DDR2<br />

			<description><![CDATA[I've been thinking about how limited the player flight is in game. It's restricted to noclip and vehicles. So I was thinking about a mod for gliding or doing tricks in the air, such as barrel rolls (the actual term is aleron roll, barrel roll is much different), loops, hammerheads, etc. And also being able to fly upside-down. As far as controls go, I was thinking mouse for direction, arrows for strafing and banks, and holding space for gliding/starting the jump.<br />
<br />
I have no experience with this sort of thing, but I know some of you do, so I figured I'd bounce the idea at you and see where you took it.<br />

			<description><![CDATA[I was hanging out with Gunski on Tweak's server yesterday building cars with him. After a few failed attempts at building a working suspension with .25x.25  plates I decided to draw inspiration from one of his current projects and build a 3-wheeled vehicle not unlike a <a href="http://www.product-reviews.net/wp-content/userimages/2008/03/cirbin-v13r-is-it-a-car-or-motorcycle.jpg" target="_blank">T-Rex</a>. After assembling the main suspension I put small drag wheels in the front and a single large drag wheel in the back. I then proceeded to cover them with cowling and, lo-and-behold, the thing looked like a 3-wheeled hotrod!<br />
<br />
SO! In conclusion, I will be posting pictures of my progress a little later since I'm at school and Steam somehow will not start games when I'm connected to my school's wireless network.<br />
