Question My system hangs on multiple tabs in Firefox
Hello all,
My system ( CPU 2.40 GHz & 512 MB of RAM ) hangs as I open more than 50 tabs in Mozilla Firefox. I want to open approx 500 tabs for off-page SEO work ( Multiple sites ) at a time in Firefox browser... Should I increase its memory or CPU or both or any other idea to improve the PC performance? Sad

RE: My system hangs on multiple tabs in Firefox
Don't use Firefox and don't open 500 tabs at once? Only solution I can come up with.

RE: My system hangs on multiple tabs in Firefox
Well... having that many tabs open would
use up both quite a bit of ram and cpu
depending on what's on the pages etc.

You'd probably have to upgrade both but
I'd look into it a bit more.

Firefox is the only browser I really use and
it's always ran pretty well for me.

I think he is a troll.

Its fairly obvious opening 500 tabs will slow you down and rape your bandwidth.
